Situated near Ashburton, on the edge of Dartmoor and in the heart of a Devon valley, Sladesdown farm has beautiful views over open countryside towards the sea.
Sladesdown Farmhouse is a modern house with real character offering spacious accommodation for a relaxing break. The large, light rooms feature seating areas, TV's and hospitality trays, so even on a quiet evening you will have plenty of space and things to do.
Your day will get off to a great start with a hearty cooked breakfast or if you prefer the option to have a Continental menu. It is served in the airy rustic dining room, at a time to suit you.

Walkers and cyclists will particularly enjoy the location as we are on the edge of Dartmoor, where you can ramble or cycle through the beautiful scenery until your hearts content. More information on the common routes through the moor can be found by clicking the "Things to do" button at the top of the page.
Sladesdown Farm is a small working farm with Pedigree Red Devon cattle, Pedigree Boer Goats, turkeys and chicken. The property features a garden area which you are welcome to use and soak up the country air in serne calm surroundings. There is nothing quite like it after a long day treking over the moors.
We are situated just off the A38, making it easy to find us and just as easy to get to the many tourist attractions neary

The property features 4 rooms, Apple, Blackberry, Cherry & Damson.
Apple is a family room with 4 beds, and has the option to have additional beds if required. It features a seating area, plenty of room and a gorgeous view of the Devon countryside, and en-suite facilities
Blackberry is double or twin room, which also has en-suite facilities, plenty of space for you and again, the option to have an extra bed put in the room to make it a triple.
Cherry & Damson are interconnecting rooms which have a shared bathroom. We can let Cherry as a double room or both together as a family suite taking up to 4 people. If you have booked Cherry as a double we will never let Damson seperately so you will always have a private bathroom.
Escape from the hussle and bussle to our small working farm. With spacious accommodation for a relaxing break. Enjoy the far reaching countryside, birds singing and local amenities. Dartmoor walks, horse riding, NT gardens and beaches to be explored. Highly Commended 2008 - 2009 .
